From #WestAfrica to #EastAfrica, EEG-Engineering Experience Group continues to expand its contribution to resilient #water infrastructure across the continent

We are proud to announce that EEG-Engineering Experience Group has been awarded the Feasibility Study for Direct Raw Water Intake from the Nyabarongo River for Kigali Bulk WTP, Rwanda.
Located downstream of Akagera Bridge in Bugesera, this strategic feasibility study will support long-term water security for the Kigali metropolitan area and Bugesera District by assessing a direct river intake system as a complementary and resilient raw water source to the existing wellfield.
EEG’s feasibility scope includes hydrological and river characterization, intake site selection, raw water quality assessment, conceptual/pre-feasibility design of the intake structure and pump station, raw water conveyance and WTP hydraulic integration, CAPEX/OPEX evaluation, risk assessment, and implementation planning.
Building on our experience in water treatment plants, river intake systems, pumping stations, hydraulic design, electromechanical systems, SCADA, and multidisciplinary infrastructure engineering, this award further strengthens EEG’s growing footprint across Africa.
